True Meaning of Quiz!

What is QUIZZING?

Wikipedia gives a perfect definition of Quizzing. It says "A quiz is a form of game or mind sport, in which the players (as individuals or in teams) 'attempt' to answer questions correctly".  
Today Quizzing has got a different meaning. Everyone thinks that it's merely a questionnaire in which any person having one page in his hand, comes on the stage as he is the most knowledgeable person on Earth, asks questions written on that small page and conducts the Quiz! If you are among them, then you might not have met this guy called Parnab Mukherjee:
He is a a brilliant quizmaster who can tell you what is QUIZZING. I have myself attended his quizzes and a quiz master isn't a person, who tells you that your answer is wrong but the one who tells you why your answer is wrong! 
Quizzing is all about brilliant guessing and connecting the facts you know and which are given in the question. It's not all about knowledge! Moreover, Quizzing doesn't mean giving right answers, it's about giving wrong answers!

Knowledge: The Heart of Quizzing Knowledge is considered as the HEART of Quizzing. Without knowledge QUIZ is nonsense. It is very essential in answering the question as well as guessing the answer! For big quizzes, books won't suffice the need. You, of course, need books but with Internet in your hand and that is why the pic uploaded above has a smartphone! Research deep while studying on a topic. Start collecting more and more knowledge to become a good quizzer!  But beware of false knowledge.Always verify the stuffs before fixing it in your mind! There are many sources which give false knowledge. So verify them and then move ahead!  Have a good day!
